Today is the day, friends.

Holy shit. HOLLLLYYYYY SHIT. I am so excited to have you here & celebrating the launch of my very own brand campaign. But what is a brand campaign?

For me, it’s about encapsulating everything that I stand for, all the wonderful humans I work with, + the experience I offer my clients, through a single photoshoot.

Behind the campaign:

I wanted to produce and photograph my own studio campaign, the same way a major fashion brand would when showcasing their brand.

This campaign was produced and photographed entirely by me.

I created the lighting.

I sourced the outfits.

I assembled the best hair and makeup team- Betsabé Roman + Lindsey Shokouhi.

I had a vision and it was very important that I committed myself fully to this, the same way i commit myself to my clients.

I am beyond proud of myself, the team, and these images.

THE MODELS

I wanted to work with six very special past clients of mine that each, in their own way, represent the softness, the power, the vulnerability, the togetherness + connectedness that is a boudoir session with me.

My clients exist in many varying identities + communities and I was very specific in who I included to represent those differences.

Some of their differences are not visible to your eye + my hope is to challenge you, the viewer, on the assumptions we make about people regarding their lived experiences + their identities based on their bodies and outward appearances.

So much intention went into every aspect of this project and it is because intention matters.

WHO WE ARE

We are empowered. We are seen. We take up space.

We are celebrated.

We are worthy.

We are together + never alone.

We all share one thing; we want to do things differently and we want

to heal our ancestral traumas surrounding our bodies. We want more for ourselves now, because we never got what we needed when we were kids.

We are no longer shrinking ourselves for the sake of society.

BEHIND THE DESIGN

I also knew I wanted the overall design layout to replicate the magazines we grew up reading. Yeah, those magazines that damaged us, but could never get away from.

I wanted to reclaim what we were reading + the messaging behind it. I wanted to take back what so many damaging magazine articles stole from us and our self esteems.

I wanted to give you something powerful.

I hope these images inspire you. I hope you know you are enough and you are worthy of investing time, energy and money into your mental health, your self esteem, and into deepening the connection you have with yourself.
