Huntress Florals in the studio

What is there to say about my friend Jen? It’s really hard to put it all into words, but I’ll try.

I was so stoked when my friend Jen, of Huntress Florals, came in and shot with me last month! Jen was one of the first people I met when moving to Oceanside and she is also from my hometown of Philadelphia which is super special. I knew her session was going to be very one-of-akind (like her). Incorporating her florals into her shoot was so very important to her and my jaw literally dropped when she brought in a wearable floral piece the day of her session. Like, O-M-G. When I tell you that I wish you could smell the flowers through these photos- I WISH you could smell the flowers through these photos. The roses were so freaking fragrant and fresh. It was sooooo epic!

The coolest thing about Jen’s session was that she was open to my creative process entirely and really wanted me to approach this different than most boudoir sessions. She wasn’t interested in details of her booty or anything like that. She wanted to be captured as her whole-self. So we did just that. We focused on her badass energy and let the flowers inspire the posing, as well. This is truly one of the most unique sessions I have ever photographed and to have all go down in my new studio was the icing on the cake!
