WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A BOUDOIR SESSION

It’s truly so special when I work with a client who is excited and ready to let go during their session.

But what do I mean when I say

“let go”?

“Letting go” can mean a multitude of different things when speaking about your session.

Letting go of fears / anxieties

Letting go of go of the need to be “perfect”

Letting go of control (taking the trust fall)

Letting go of how we think our bodies should look

Letting go of any negative feelings regarding our bodies

I honestly could go on and on and on.

When Kristine came in for her session, she made it clear from the start that she was ready to let go, dive in, and enjoy the experience of being photographed by me- whatever it meant. I love hearing that from my clients because it means that I can really and truly create from my heart and soul with them. When the images I make are coming from a pure place of creativity, from the depths of my soul, that’s when things get really “real”. You (as the client) get to fully experience the validation and love that comes with letting someone SEE you. Being photographed in that way and being seen, is a truly remarkable experience, my friends.

It’s such a beautiful thing to be able to work with people who simply want to enjoy the experience of working with me. It leaves me feeling the most fulfilled when I get to create unique imagery for each client as an individual.

I would not be able to create in this way, If I worked with people who weren’t as invested in me or my business as I am invested in them. I wouldn’t be able to create this way if I was working with people who just wanted the same experience or photos they see other photographers doing / offering.

I do things differently, and no two sessions are the same.

Big beautiful things happen for my clients when they get to be photographed in a way they never anticipated or expected. The confidence that beams from their soul after we shoot and look through their photos is just * chefs kiss * on another level.
