My Favorite Styles + Outfit Ideas for 2024 Boudoir Sessions | Oceanside, California Boudoir Photographer

Welcome 2024.

I am happy to have a fresh start after the dumpster fire that was 2023. Literally up until the very last week of 2023 I was experiencing heartache, grief, anxiety, etc.

I did some reflecting on what I want moving forward into this year and while I don’t have a huge list of goals or things to achieve for my business, I mostly just want to feel less stressed and more in control of my life and business and take my power back.

I want to have more fun (not that I don’t currently, but you know) and I want to feel lighter. With that in mind, I wanted to think about what I bring to my business that is unique and special.

Here we go:

  1. I am insanely good at making people feel really good and confident in their own skin. Don’t believe me— hit up my Yelp or Google reviews to verify (lol).

2. I am really talented with my camera and know how to make an image feel both classic and timeless as well as modern and edgy.

3. I am also hella amazing at helping my clients figure out what to wear to their session, so that they feel really confident and like they are choosing outfits that feel like an extension of themselves.

When I think about how I am really good at helping my clients think about their outfits through their own lens, and not the hyper sexualized, male-gaze, I realized, I want to show you all what goes on in my brain when I think about outfit ideas and “vibes” for your session.

The reality is, what you wear is an accessory. How you feel during your session is the goal and the point of doing it. Clothing, makeup, jewelry, hairstyles - it’s all there to compliment the already amazing YOU. So why not have fun with it? Why not think about it in the context you youuuu?

So- below you’ll find my favorite styles and vibes that I want to see more of in 2024! Below each, you’ll see sources and links to that outfit!

Enjoy! AND BOOK YOUR SESSION ALREADY!

xx
